ABOUT US

NEDP are a project based, amateur dance company based in Newcastle and Gateshead. We are dedicated to making dance performance opportunities more accessible and enjoyable for audiences and participating dancers. We perform excerpts of Classical Ballets alongside Neoclassical, Jazz and Contemporary choreography. Anyone 18+ who wants to dance is welcome at NEDP. Our dancers vary vastly in terms of experience, from beginner to advanced, as well as in age and nationality.

The dancers rehearse weekly, term time. NEDP take on new dancers in January, April and September each year. You can choose to attend either Thursday or Sunday sessions or both! NEDP also offer dance intensives, workshops and classes.
