Do I need dance experience to join?

NEDP is open to anyone 18+. We are keen to work with any person who wants to dance or perform. Our current dancers range from absolute beginners to advanced.

If I can't make all rehearsals, can I still take part?

We ask that all dancers attend around 80% of rehearsals. If you would like to take part but are unsure about your attendance, get in touch!

What dance style do you practice?​

In warm up classes, before rehearsals, we practice Ballet and Contemporary styles. Dancers must be willing to perform Classical Ballet and Contemporary choreography. There may also be optional Neoclassical and Physical Theatre work.

How many dancers do you take on for each project?​

For each project, we will take up to 20 dancers per session (Thursday 20 dancers and Sunday 20 dancers).
